- A request for families to bring a dessert to share, creating a true community-style potluck table full of sweet treats.
And it doesn’t stop with food! You’ll have the chance to:
- Show off your vocal talents during karaoke (or just cheer on the brave performers!)
- Enter for a chance to win cool prizes during the raffle giveaways
- Let the kids burn off energy while parents relax and socialize
A Night That Strengthens Community Bonds
Family Night is more than just an evening of fun—it’s about creating connections. In today’s fast-paced world, finding moments to slow down and enjoy time together is more important than ever. Events like these help foster strong relationships between families, schools, and community organizations, all while promoting safe, substance-free recreation.
The Lincoln Community Coalition is committed to supporting healthy choices and building a culture of care throughout Lincoln County. That’s why this is an alcohol- and drug-free event, open to everyone and focused on inclusive, family-friendly enjoyment.
Why Family Nights Matter
Research consistently shows that family engagement and positive community involvement are key to youth development and long-term well-being. Events like Pioche Family Night help reinforce those protective factors by:
- Creating safe spaces for families to have fun together
- Offering opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect with local resources
- Encouraging healthy, substance-free lifestyles in a supportive setting
When families come together, communities grow stronger. And when youth see their community leaders and caregivers prioritizing meaningful, positive interaction, it sends a message that their well-being matters.
Want to Get Involved?
Parents and guardians are encouraged to join the fun not only as attendees but as volunteers! If you’d like to help out during the event or lend a hand with setup or cleanup, please contact the Coalition office at 775-271-1171. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, support your community, and set a positive example for the next generation.
We’ll See You There!
So mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 6th, and head over to Pioche Elementary School for a night of laughter, connection, and community pride. Bring your favorite dessert, grab some nachos, belt out a karaoke tune (or two), and help us celebrate what makes Lincoln County such a special place to live.
We can’t wait to see you and your family there!
