As an official invitation to summer, residents in Pahranagat Valley have the opportunity to end the school year with a community celebration as an outdoor movie night and splash pad party are slated for next week.
All are invited to a free outdoor movie night at Alamo Church Ball Park, courtesy of the Lincoln County Coalition and Joshua Tree Ward youth, on May 22. Popcorn and slushies will be provided as “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” begins at 7:45 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a better movie experience.
Following the movie night, the “School’s Out for Summer” community party begins on May 23 at 12 p.m. The event is hosted by the Lincoln County Coalition, Friends of Pahranagat Valley and LCAT. Students and families will meet at the Alamo Splash Pad for summer activities. Partygoers can expect food from Meltz Pizza and soft drinks from Bubble Buggy, a variety of games including corn hole, sack races, a bubble machine and water fun on the Splash pad and slip ‘n slide.
