A 9/11 National Day of Service Fun Run is coming to Alamo on September 9, 7 a.m. at the Splash Pad and Panaca on September 16, 7 a.m. at Pioneer Park.
The entry fee for the run is nonperishable food, hygiene products, or gently used household items or clothes.
Items will be donated to Lincoln County organizations that help those in need in our area.
More than 30 million Americans participate in the 9/11 National Day of Service, dedicating time each 9/11 to helping others in need, and rekindling the spirit of unity that brought Americans together in the days following the 9/11 tragedy.
