The Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is now recruiting for a part-time, contract staff person to serve as the Executive Director of the Nevada Lifespan Respite Care Coalition (NLRCC).
The NLRCC is a public advisory body to the state of Nevada, promoting awareness and access to respite across the state. The Coalition’s advocacy efforts are driven by the Nevada State Plan for the Support of Family Caregivers which includes 18 recommendations for state and community programs to consider when designing programs and services for family caregivers.
The Executive Director position supports the NLRCC meetings, organizing presenters/speakers based on the Coalition goals and priorities, manages the NLRCC website and social media accounts, develops community partnerships and conducts outreach related to the Nevada State Plan to Support Family Caregivers. The Executive Director helps to conduct research and gather information to support the Coalition’s advocacy efforts to state leadership including Executive branch agencies and the legislature.
