Title: Executive Director
Reports to: Coalition / Fiscal Agent
Salary Range: DOE / Expertise– 38,000-42,000
Hours: 30-40 weekly
Qualifications: Experience or college that involves social services, addiction, data collection, health ecology, or management. Knowledge of substance abuse prevention, healthy community coalitions is desired but not required. Proven ability to collect and manage data from a variety of sources. Proven ability to work well with people in an engaging manner. Must be able to write concisely and cohesively. Background check required for this position. Office experience and a very high level of computer literacy are required. Nevada Driver’s License required. Must be willing and able to travel (in and out of state) including by air.
Job Duties: Under the direction of the Coalition Membership / Fiscal Agent
- Coordinate with the community and coalition members to ensure the collection of data specific to the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) process.
- Work with organizations and agencies on data collection methods.
- Coordinate, plan, facilitate, assist, and participate in the Lincoln County Coalition and their programs.
- Oversee staff that works with the Lincoln County coalition.
- Facilitate the communications between organizations regarding SPF data, planning and sustainability
- Assist with the coordination and conducting of monthly coalition meetings.
- Educate the community and coalition members about the SPF process, prevention, risk and protective factors via public speaking venues and other avenues.
- Compile the written documentation of the data, data collection methods, and results of the process.
- Utilize logic models as a planning tool.
- Attend trainings / meetings out of town on a regularly occurring basis.
- Provide oversight of the SPF data collector’s activities, ensuring compliance with the established SPF plan and assisting with the process and engaging community partners as needed.
