We wanted to make our community aware that the Moderna vaccine has arrived and vaccinations have started Lincoln County. The states “Vaccination Playbook” was again updated last night to include seniors 70 and over along with the list indicated below.
Grover C. Dils Medical Center will be working with the Lincoln County Community Health Nurse, Nicole Rowe to begin vaccinations to those in our community wishing to receive it.
Please understand that each county is allotted a specific amount of vaccine each week. Lincoln County is receiving the Moderna vaccine. There are 10 doses of this vaccine in each vial that must be thawed and administered over a 6-hour period of time which is why SCHEDULING IS SO IMPORTANT.
If you wish to receive the vaccine and are included in the list below please contact our clinic offices or Nicole Rowe, Community Health Nurse and we will get you scheduled. Grover C. Dils Medical Center will be scheduling vaccines for the group listed below on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. As a reminder, this is a two-step vaccine and where you receive your first dose is where you need to receive your second dose.
Watch for more information in the coming days!
